The UK-20 LPDT underground truck, a specialized heavy-duty equipment articulated, is primarily designed and deployed for operations in underground mining environments, where it plays a critical role in material handling—boasting a robust loading capacity of 20 tons, enabling it to efficiently transport large volumes of ore, rock, or other mining-related materials.

A key structural feature of the UK-20 lies in its articulated frame, which is strategically joined at the center. This articulated design, combined with an impressive 42° steering angle, significantly enhances the equipment’s maneuverability. As a direct advantage of this configuration, the UK-20 exhibits an exceptionally small turning radius, allowing it to navigate smoothly through the narrow tunnels, confined workspaces, and tight corners that are typical of underground mining sites—spaces where larger or less agile machinery would struggle to operate effectively.
To further adapt to the unique and often challenging conditions of underground mines (such as limited visibility or the need to minimize human exposure to high-risk areas), the UK-20 also offers an optional remote control functionality. This feature enables operators to control the equipment from a safe, distant location, improving operational safety while maintaining full control over loading, transportation, and maneuvering tasks.
