WJ-3.0 Narrow Vein Underground Loader Technical Overview


The WJ-3.0 is a compact underground loader (LHD) designed specifically for narrow vein and confined space mining operations. Its core design philosophy is to achieve efficient, precise, and reliable ore loading and hauling in extremely confined conditions through optimized structure, drive, and control systems.


I. Structural Design and Maneuverability


Articulated Steering System: Utilizing an innovative articulated frame structure with a large 40° steering angle, it enables flexible steering and U-turns in tunnels as small as 3.4m x 3.4m.


Compact Body: Optimized overall width and turning radius are key to its high maneuverability, significantly improving maneuverability and operating efficiency in narrow mines.


Ergonomics and Visibility: The rear-mounted cab layout, coupled with an ergonomically designed side-seat canopy, provides the operator with unobstructed, excellent two-way visibility, ensuring safe and precise two-way driving and operation.


II. Operating Performance and Powertrain


Optimized Working Mechanism: The enhanced geometry of the boom and loading frame is designed to provide an optimal digging force curve and efficient bucket fill rate, thereby optimizing loading efficiency.


All-Wheel Drive System: Equipped with four-wheel drive, the front axle is equipped with a zero-slip differential, and the rear axle is equipped with a limited-slip differential. This combination ensures effective driving force to all wheels in adverse road conditions, providing excellent traction.


Safe Braking: Equipped with the SAHR braking system (spring-applied, hydraulically released), this fail-safe system automatically applies the brakes in the event of a loss of hydraulic pressure, providing dual reliability for both the operating and parking brakes.
